PNLD become the Official Shirt Sponsor of West Yorkshire Police Football Club

PNLD is delighted to announce that we are the official shirt sponsor of West Yorkshire Police Football Club. This is an exciting opportunity which will see the PNLD logo sit proudly on the front of the playing shirts for the 2020/21 season.

West Yorkshire Police FC (WYPFC) are competing in the National Police Cup alongside the Emergency Services Football League (ESFL), which brings together some of the best emergency services football teams from around the country.

Andy Smurthwaite, Manager of West Yorkshire Police FC stated: “WYPFC was reformed three years ago after going without a side for a number of years. We felt a force the size of West Yorkshire should have a football team.

We now have three teams within the club with over 100 people taking part in active sport which is great to see, the benefits of playing team sport are well known to improve mental health and your own health and well-being.

We wouldn’t be able to survive without the generosity of our sponsors and really appreciate the sacrifices they make, to see our teams continue to improve and attract more members”.

Jamie Allsop, current WYPFC player as well as Business & Marketing Assistant at PNLD, added: “Sponsoring the WYPFC shirt is an opportunity that we simply couldn’t miss. Having our brand displayed on match days is invaluable as not only does it promote the use of our legal database to West Yorkshire Police colleagues, it also promotes PNLD on a national level when playing against other forces from across the UK.

The squad are regular users of PNLD in their roles, so it’s great to receive feedback from our key customers whilst they are promoting the brand!

Playing for WYPFC is a great privilege, especially being one of a select group that are able to represent a force the size of West Yorkshire. Being part of the squad also enables me to meet other staff across the force that I may not have met in my day to day job”.

Last month saw the brand new kit on show for the first time, in which WYPFC ran out 8-0 winners against Yorkshire Ambulance Service in their opening game of the ESFL. As we can all agree, the kit is looking superb and all the Team at PNLD wish WYPFC the best of luck in their quest for glory!

PNLD become sponsors of the Emergency Services Football League

PNLD are pleased to announce that we have become a sponsor of the Emergency Services Football League (ESFL), a unique competition, which brings together the emergency services of the UK in one place.

The sponsorship that will be in place for the next two years, will also see PNLD be the headline sponsor of the ESFL 5-a-side Tournament that is due to take place in 2021.

Speaking about the sponsorship, ESFL Co-Founder Pete Overton stated: “The ESFL brings together the emergency services of the UK in a competitive, flexible league – the only one of its kind in the UK.

The Emergency Services Football League strives to improve the health and wellbeing of those individuals serving in the UK’s emergency services.

ESFL is proud to be sponsored by PNLD and the league would not be possible without their support and generosity. We are really looking forward to working with PNLD and helping them promote the legal database to all the competing teams throughout the UK.“

Ashley Firth, Marketing & Service Delivery Officer at PNLD added: “PNLD are thrilled to be associated with the Emergency Services Football League. Our legal database is used throughout the criminal justice system so sponsoring the ESFL is a great opportunity to further promote our services within this arena.

We wish all the teams that have registered for this season, the very best of luck and we look forward to attending a few games.”

PNLD is an information resource of criminal justice legislation, continuing to guide and inform the Police Service of England and Wales on criminal law and has done so for over 20 years. Our services are also available on a subscription basis, to those in the criminal justice and emergency services arena.
