20 July 2017The Home Secretary has announced plans to consult on new offences to toughen up knife crime laws.The proposed new action would restrict the online sale of knives and ban possession of dangerous or offensive weapons on private property.
17 July 2017The Home Secretary has announced that there will be a review of the law and powers in relation to dealing with acid attacks. The review will look at the Poison's Act 1972 to see if more corrosive substances can be covered but will also look at judge's sentencing powers, retailer restrictions on sales and police guidance.
