A man has been successfully prosecuted for rapes of several children by proving that he was as guilty in instigating the overseas offending as he would have been committing the crime itself.

The CPS is reviewing two cases after it was held that 'laughing gas' was exempt from the Psychoactive Substances Act. The Home Office says it will continue to prosecute those who sell nitrous oxide. However, questions have been raised as to whether the new law will need to be amended.
