Health Protection (Coronavirus, Travel from Denmark) (England) Regulations 2020

08 November 2020

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Travel from Denmark) (England) Regulations 2020 are in force from 4am on Sunday 8 November 2020.

Regulation 2 prohibits the arrival of aircraft from Denmark and regulation 3 prohibits the arrival of vessels from Denmark.

Where an aircraft or vessel's last point of departure was Denmark, the operator must not cause or permit that aircraft or vessel to land or port in England, unless it is reasonably necessary to secure the safety of the aircraft or vessel, or the health and safety of any person on board.

This restriction does not apply to commercially operated aircraft and vessels, that are not carrying passengers, or to an aircraft or vessel operated by or in support of Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom.

Please see our coronavirus document for an overview of further legislation relating to the Coronavirus.
