Coronavirus Regulations Extensions & Amendments

The following Regulations are amended from 11.55pm on 20 June 2021; extending the Regulations so that the restrictions provided by them are now due to expire on 18th July 2021:

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Steps) (England) Regulations 2021

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Wearing of Face Coverings on Public Transport) (England) Regulations 2020

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 3) Regulations 2020

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Local Authority Enforcement Powers and Amendment) (England) Regulations 2020

In addition, the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Steps) (England) Regulations 2021 are amended to remove most limits on the numbers who may attend a wedding or civil partnership, a reception for a wedding or civil partnership, or a commemorative event following a person’s death, and the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Wearing of Face Coverings in Public Transport) (England) 2020 are amended to ensure the definition of linked households is as defined in regulation 3 of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Steps) (England) Regulations 2021.
