Amended: The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 5) (Wales) Regulations 2020

The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 5) (Wales) Regulations 2020 are amended from 21 June 2021, to require persons responsible for regulated premises to take certain steps to ensure safety. Schedule 1 (Alert Level 1 restrictions) are amended -

to remove the limit on the number of people permitted to be at weddings, wedding receptions, or a celebration of life of a deceased person, this will now be set in line with the risk assessment for the premises

to allow primary school children to gather at holiday or travel accommodation where the gathering is related to the development or well-being of children

to clarify that the prohibition on organising events does not apply to an entertainment performance held in premises ordinarily used for that purpose, and where no more than 200 people are in attendance or where it is held outdoors.

Schedule 2 (Alert Level 2 restrictions) are amended to clarify the effect of the prohibition on organising events, including that it does not apply to an entertainment performance held in premises ordinarily used for that purpose, and where no more than 200 people are in attendance or where it is held outdoors.
