Amended: Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (Very High) (England) Regulations 2020

From Saturday 17 October 2020, the following areas of Lancashire are removed from the list of Tier 2 areas under the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (High) (England) Regulations 2020 and designated as Tier 3 areas under Schedule 2 of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (Very High) (England) Regulations 2020:

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council

Burnley Borough Council

Chorley Borough Council

Fylde Borough Council

Hyndburn Borough Council

Lancaster City Council

Pendle Borough Council

Preston City Council

Ribble Valley Borough Council

Rossendale Borough Council

South Ribble Borough Council

West Lancashire Borough Council and

Wyre Borough Council

Paragraph 1 of Schedule 2A is also added to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (Very High) (England) Regulations 2020, from Saturday 17 October 2020, to require the closure of betting shops and adult gaming centres; casinos; indoor gyms, fitness and dance studios; and indoor sports facilities, in the areas of Liverpool City Region listed in Schedule 2.
